rogers shield is primary defensive and offensive piece of equipment used by the superhero rogers; he is seldom seen without it. the original shield that rogers carried into battle was made of steel and was shaped like a traditional heater shield. later, he adopted his more well-known, disc-shaped shield which was made out of vibranium.
